Hoof is the British Equestrian Federation’s participation programme that aims to get more people horse riding and enjoying their equestrian sport. The BEF plans to achieve increased participation through attracting new people into the sport, as well as maintaining opportunities and raising standards for those already enjoying riding.
By connecting people to riding facilities, clubs and equestrian sporting organisations, Hoof is helping more people to discover horses, get fit and improve their well-being.
Hoof can help people discover everything horses have to offer, from where to ride and how to stay safe around horses to the health benefits and support for equestrian business,
For businesses Hoof aims to:
Offer advice, guidance and support on the opportunities available for equestrian businesses and clubs to grow and raise standards.
Consult with local equestrian businesses and clubs to understand the challenges that are faced within the industry and help find solutions.
Facilitate networking opportunities for equestrian business or facilities throughout the year, to be able to share best practice, gain support, and advice from key speakers.
