Team GB Parades

Find out where the British Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be celebrating their success from the London 2012 Games.

Our Greatest Team Parade

On Monday 10th September, around 800 athletes will travel on 21 floats in a celebration for the achievements of competitors from Team GB and ParalympicsGB at London 2012. The procession will leave London's Mansion House at 13:30 and will travel past Trafalgar Square, through Admiralty Arch and into The Mall. The floats will be arranged by sport, and all of the equestrian athletes are expected to attend, with around 40 athletes being carried on each float.

British Dressage National Championships

The Gold medal winning British dressage and para-dressage teams will be parading with their medals on Saturday 15th September at the BD national championships, at Stoneleigh Park. The dressage team of Carl Hester, Charlotte Dujardin and Laura Bechtolsheimer, plus individual rider Richard Davison, and the para-dressage team of Lee Pearson, Sophie Christiansen, Sophie Wells and Deb Criddle, with individual rider Natasha Baker, will attend a lap of honour in order to celebrate their fantastic success.

Horse of the Year Show

The Gold medal British showjumping team will also be parading their medals at HOYS (3RD-7TH October) this year to celebrate their historic success amongst the British showjumping world. The team of Nick Skelton, Ben Maher, Peter Charles and Scott Brash will all be attending; more information will be available nearer the time.

Burghley and Blenheim Horse Trials

The Silver medal British eventing team had a lap of honour at Burghley Horse Trials this weekend (30-2nd September), and they are continuing the celebrations at Blenheim Horse Trials (6-9th September). As part of Blenheim’s finale, Tina Cook, William Fox-Pitt, Zara Phillips and Nicola Wilson will be taking part in a special mounted parade in the main arena before the prize giving (at approximately 4.15pm) on Sunday (9th September).
