What is mounted games?
Mounted Games is a fast paced competition in which either teams, pairs or individuals compete against each other.
It is a sport which showcases the rider's athletic ability and agility, precision of riding and general horsemanship.
There are three age classification groups for teams: minis (Under 12), Juniors (Under 17) and Open (open to all ages). Teams consist of between four and five riders and ponies.
Riders must navigate their way through a number of obstacle courses, which can include a bending race, stepping stones and a stacking race. All courses rely on the skill, control and agility of the rider to produce a clear round and finish ahead of the other competing teams, pairs or individuals.
